Swallow’s nests are a valued product as a delicacy in some Asian countries, but their number is declining rapidly. Tewet, a respected elder in the village, has harvested swallow’s nests for decades. He worries his trade of the nests may disappear in the near future, and tries to preserve this ancestral tradition.
