Maintenance and Botanicals | South East Asian Biotope Ep. 7

In this video, I add some botanicals (like seed pods & leaves) to my South East Asian biotope aquarium along with a new Cryptocoryne plant and copepods. I also show how I do maintenance on this tank, even though it's mostly maintenance-free. I barely have to do anything other than feed the shrimp and fish and top up the water. I also remove some Salvinia minima so it doesn't cover the entire surface (which it does when I don't take some out). I know I said I would make an update by the time I added some new fish, but I still haven't gotten around to getting them. I am certain which species I want to add though; I will start by adding Kuhli Loaches. They should fit right into this biotope aquarium. I'm still holding off on adding more danios, I still have 8 left and they are doing well. I don't want to risk adding another parasite or disease to the tank for now. Thanks for watching this update. Feel free to ask any questions about this aquarium down in the comments. The next video will be made when I add the Kuhli Loaches. Subscribe to follow this tank's journey. Ps: I later realised the copepods were a saltwater species, so they won't survive for long in the tank but did make a good snack for the fish. #aquariumasmr #biotopeaquarium #aquariummaintenance #aquascaping #southeastasianbiotope
