1 Year Later - Finally Flying C-FMVU Home! One year after finding this abandoned Cessna 172B locked away in a hangar - airplane hangar find, airplane barn find. It's been a year of hard work rebuilding our Cessna 172B, and it's finally time to fly C-FMVU to it's new home at Oshawa Airport (CYOO). Over the last year we've done extensive work and testing: Stripped the paint and interior. Partially polished the airplane, and painted a stripe. Pulled the entire electrical system and re-wired it. Replaced all of the lights with LEDs and LED strobes. Pulled the vacuum system and replaced the entire panel with a Dynon Skyview glass panel Added a Sportsman STOL kit Added Micro VG's Added WingX wing extensions But there is still a lot of work to do...
