Chordplay - The Chords Of Robin Trower (Part Two)

Hey everyone! Here's the next episode of Chordplay with a second installment of The Chords Of Robin Trower. It was 4-5 years ago when I created the first Robin Trower Chordplay lesson, and while there are Three-For-All lessons and also a Soloing Secrets lesson surrounding this legendary guitarist on the channel, I decided to put this lesson together to celebrate one of his classic albums that happens to be having its 50th anniversary this year - so let's dive in! The chord-based and rhythm guitar parts explored in this lesson came from Robin's 1975 album For Earth Below, which as I already mentioned is 50 years old this year. This lesson includes sections of songs such as Shame The Devil, It's Only Money, Confessin' Midnight, Alethea, A Tale Untold, and the title track For Earth Below. There's also a surprise hiding at the end of this lesson with a look at a funky track from the overlooked B.L.T. album, featuring the late-great Jack Bruce on bass/vocals and Bill Lordan behind the kit. Needless to say, if you're a Robin Trower fan, a viewer that asked for more lessons/material surrounding this absolute guitar icon, a guitarist looking to add some slick chord-based ideas to their bag of tricks, or maybe you're just curious what all the fuss is about - this lesson is totally for you!
