Rain Reveals Everything
The rainy season reveals things the dry season hides. Today I'm heading back to Shai Hills after receiving a call about a leaking roof. What should have been a simple site visit quickly turned into an adventure through muddy roads, black cotton soil, and conditions that remind us why understanding water is one of the most important parts of building in Ghana. In this episode three of Back in Motion, we talk about rainwater, drainage, flooding, wetlands, waterproofing, and the realities of choosing land during the rainy season. One of the lessons I've learned over the years is that water always tells the truth. A piece of land that looks perfect during the dry season may tell a completely different story once the rains arrive. Sometimes the best time to evaluate land is when the weather is at its worst. Join me for another journey through Shai Hills as we solve problems, assess conditions, and continue learning what it really takes to build and develop in Ghana. Follow the journey. From time to time, people have asked if there's a way to share an offering or show appreciation for the time, information, and content I provide. For those instances, I've set up a Buy Me a Coffee page below. https://buymeacoffee.com/ecotalkwithb... As always, I'm happy to connect and share what I can. #BrandonRogersHomes #EcotalkwithBrandon #BeyondtheReturn #Ghana #Africa #ShaiHills #BuildingInGhana #LandDevelopment #RainySeason #SustainableDevelopment #Architecture #PropertyDevelopment #AfroModern #DesignBuild #RuralDevelopment
