Silky Gomboy 240 Review and Evaluation

Review and Evaluation of the Silky Gomboy 240 after 6 months of hard use in the Australian bush building shelters, a canoe and numerous other bushcraft projects. OK, so I need to make a correction to the video. In the video I say about a negative of the saw is that it cannot be sharpened. This is not true. Well it is true that it cannot be sharpened with a standard sharpening file, however you can purchase a special file designed specially for sharpening Silky saw blades and you can resharpen them. There is a little more work involved but it can be done. So if you were reluctant to buy a Silky saw because of not being able to sharpen it, this is not the case if you are prepared to buy and carry the special file to do the job. Cheers...
