Hey Guys, I today's video Emma is presenting You a Škoda S100, that has been in the same family since 175. During out interview, Gábor reveiled that he bought the car from his nanny a couple of years ago, who owned it since new! Just like any typical Hungarian elderly lady, she didn't drive the car much, only to the local shop, church, cemetary, etc. Upon her retirement, she no longer needed the car, so Gábor convinced her to sell him the S100. Following the purchase, he took it to a specialist, who renovated the car to its former glory, say, looked brand new! The Škoda S100 was a successor to the 1000 & 1100MB, and was designed to be a low cost small family car. It was the first Czechoslovak car of which over 1 million have been produced. As in most cases of communist cars, the S100 has also incorporated Western European and American design elements, such as the panoramic/ Wrap Around windshield, padded dashboard and the 'thermometer style' speedometer. As for its engine options, the only available variant was a 998 ccm (60.9 cu. inch), water cooled inline 4 cylinder engine, combined with a 4 speed manual floor mounted transmisssion. Their mutual effort achieved a top peformance of 44 HBP (32 kW).
