Carcass Collector | Digital Painting Time-Lapse

A grotesque scavenger of the battlefield. This towering creature resembles the skeletal remains of a colossal vulture, its elongated beak twisted into a brutal instrument designed to tear through flesh and bone alike. It was a pleasant challenge to incorporate his huge beak and make the image work compositionally. I went through countless iterations and thumbnail sketches. In the end I'm really happy with the result. This illustration was created for Hell: Legends, serving as both a boss character card and an in-game standee.
