In this captivating talk from Vaayo Fest, 2025, Dr. KP Rajesh, a distinguished scholar, delves into the fascinating and often-overlooked pre-history of the region, specifically focusing on the period between 3000 and 7000 years ago. The talk Sheds compelling archaeological and historical evidences that shed light on the people and communities who inhabited Calicut and its surroundings in the Neolithic and Mesolithic eras, the material culture and way of life of these ancient residents, and the connections that link this coastal region to the broader pre-historic landscape of Kerala and South India.
