Coca-Cola HBC, the strategic bottling partner of The Coca-Cola Company, has installed Mecalux's semi-automated pallet shuttle system at its new warehouse in Knockmore Hill, Lisburn, Northern Ireland. Opened in 2010, Coca-Cola HBC's facility is constantly evolving to meet increasing market demand. The Mecalux solution combines high-density storage with direct pallet access and precise inventory control to ensure beverages are delivered to the right address across Ireland at the right time. Coca-Cola HBC's Northern Ireland warehouse features 12-meter-high and deep racking systems with 16 and 17 pallets per channel, respectively, providing a total storage capacity of 9,000 pallets. The new finished-product warehouse, equipped with Mecalux's semi-automated pallet shuttle system, underscores Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland's commitment to Industry 4.0.
