MTH Railking Blue Comet basket case.

This started as a very used scratched up locomotive shell and tender shell. I got a 4-6-2 chassis and modified it slightly to fit the shell. I built a new chassis for the tender. It runs via a manual reverse switch and a bridge rectifier. I repainted the cab roof and top of the tender. I painted the sides of the front truck, rear loco truck, steam chest and front pilot to match. I mixed blue and touched up a few scrapes. I left the drive wheels black. I like the way it looks that way. Runs great. Very handsome loco.
