When it comes to surfing an iSUP, there's still a big difference between surfing a hard composite surf shape board, to a board that's full of air. But that doesn't mean we don't enjoy surfing them and they don't have a place in the SUP world. iSUPs may not be as extreme at surfing as their harder composite brother, but iSUPs are changing. And a board that is really trying to change the way we think about iSUPs in the surf is the RRD Air COTAN. The rail edge at it's tail and heavy rocker line means that it doesn't mind getting into the critical section of the wave. This is one iSUP that really wants to be surfed when many iSUPs would start to bend and slide!
