Lazarevskoye is a microdistrict of Sochi, a resort on the Black Sea coast of Krasnodar Krai. It is the administrative center of the Lazarevsky District of Sochi. Lazarevskoye is located on the Black Sea coast on the right and left banks of the Psezuapse River, at the foot of the southern slope of the Main Caucasus Mountain Range. It is located 42 km northwest of Central Sochi and 135 km south of Krasnodar. The A-147 federal highway (Adler-Dzhubga) and the Tuapse-Adler railway line pass through the village of Lazarevskoye. Lazarevskoye borders the following microdistricts: Ashe to the northwest, Mamedova Shchel to the north, Alekseyevskoye to the east, and Soloniki to the south. To the west, the village of Lazarevskoye is washed by the Black Sea. The sea coastline within the town limits extends for approximately 14 km. Lazarevskoye is located in the lowlands of the foothills of the southern slope of the Main Caucasus Mountain Range. The mountains and ridges rise sharply as one moves away from the coast. The average elevation in the village is 20 meters above sea level. Mount Bostepe (535 m) rises above the village to the northeast, and Mount Soutlyantepe (592 m) to the southeast. Japanese bananas and camphor trees, quite rare in the Caucasus, are grown in the vicinity of Lazarevskoye. A protected boxwood gorge is located above the village. The hydrographic network consists of short rivers flowing from the mountains into the Black Sea. The largest river within the village is the Psezuapse River, on the right bank of which the main part of the village is located. The Kuapse River flows through the northern outskirts of Lazarevskoye. Numerous springs also flow into the Black Sea within the village. During floods and heavy rains, mountain rivers often overflow their banks, devastating everything in their path. The climate in Lazarevskoye is humid subtropical. The average annual temperature is approximately 13.5°C, with average July temperatures around 24.0°C and average January temperatures around 6°C.
