This is a great day trip from Vancouver or Whistler Canada because it's just a short drive away from both areas -- under an hour. Restrictions began lifting May 22, 2020 as the area slowly reopens. I can't wait to go again!! 2021 Update after the SECOND vandalism shutdown The official word on re-opening from the Sea to Sky website: "At this time the Sea to Sky Gondola is anticipating a reopening date in late spring/early summer of 2021.
