Surviving Europe’s Worst Ferry Crossing (Canary Islands from UK )

Buenavista Rural Club This is the final episode in the Road Trip adventure between England and Spain to Tenerife, Canary Islands. Here are the details from my 32-hour ferry crossing from Huelva, Southern Spain to Tenerife in the Canary Islands! This journey was quite the marathon, taking a full 32 hours to complete. I traveled with my trusty Opel Zafira, affectionately named 'Isabella La Grande'. Getting the car onto and off the ferry involved some long queues, so definitely a patience tester! I treated myself to a 4-berth, sea-view cabin all to myself, which was a fantastic move for comfort and privacy. It was the perfect space to relax and even get some work done. I used the time efficiently, managing to edit parts of this very video while on board. The ferry offered Starlink internet, which I was excited about, but in reality, the service was frustratingly slow and quite overpriced. Don't rely on it for heavy uploads! Overall, it was a unique experience and an essential part of the journey to the beautiful Canary Islands. If you're planning a similar trip, be prepared for a long haul! Key points covered: Route: Huelva, Spain to Tenerife, Canary Islands Duration: 32 hours Vehicle: Opel Zafira, "Isabella La Grande" Accommodation: Private 4-berth sea-view cabin Amenities: Starlink (slow/expensive), video editing on board Highlights/Challenges: Long queues, very long crossing HashTags: #GoingtoTenerifewithyourcar #FromSpaintoTenerifebyFerry #FerrytoTenerife Join me on a 32-hour sea adventure from Huelva, Southern Spain to the sun-drenched shores of Tenerife! This wasn't just a ferry crossing; it was a journey of patience and unique experiences. I was traveling with my Opel Zafira, "Isabella La Grande," and let me tell you, the boarding and disembarking queues were a real test! To survive the long haul, I snagged the last cabin, a private 4-berth sea-view cabin. Total luxury having all that space to myself! It became my own little editing studio as I worked on content. I also tried the on-board Starlink internet, but sadly it was incredibly slow and not worth the high price tag. Maybe next time the service will be better! Watch to see what it's really like to spend over a day at sea just to reach the islands. Would you do this trip? Let me know in the comments!
