2009 C6 ZR1 FULL BUILD – From Rough to 970+ RWHP Monster | Late Model Racecraft

This 2009 C6 ZR1 came to us in rough shape — hurt engine, filthy drivetrain, tired paint — but it left as an absolute weapon. Built for Mr. Beerman, this ZR1 received a complete transformation from front to back, turning it into a nearly 1,000 wheel horsepower flex-fuel street car that still drives like stock. Under the hood is our LME 400ci aluminum LSR engine, paired with a fully ported 2300 supercharger with Kong Performance Xport, larger snout, oversized throttle body, and carbon fiber intake. Even without stepping up to a 2650, this combo laid down 970+ RWHP and 830+ torque, all while remaining traction-limited in 3rd gear. This car runs on flex fuel (pump gas or E85), features long-tube headers, triple-disc clutch, upgraded fuel system, massive cooling upgrades, and a full drivetrain cleanup after pressure washing the entire torque tube and undercarriage. Ryan takes it out for a real-world street test and shows just how violent this setup is — spinning through second, hooking in third, and pulling like a freight train all the way up top.
