Georgian pop songs combined with modern piano music: Giorgi Gigashvili & Nini Nutsubidze enchant the #beethovenfest audience with an intimate duo concert. Giorgi Gigashvili is a fascinating border crosser: between the nightclubs of Tbilisi and the international concert stages, he seeks his way between musical worlds. At the start of his fellowship concerts at the Beethovenfest, he explores his love of the Georgian musical tradition. He confronts piano music from the 18th to 20th centuries, which is influenced by folklore, with folk-pop songs from Georgia.
