How To Make A Bronze Sculpture - The Lost Wax Method
How do you make a sculpture out of bronze? This video will show you how using the lost wax method. This technique is thousands of years old, and is still used today to create sculptures large and small. I will show you how using two different models. One made of oil based clay and one 3d printed model that I adjusted. The Otter represents Mr Otter Studio, and the temple is where I was married and I also helped make the stained glass windows that decorate it. I worked at the foundry shown in the video, Adonis Bronze, in Alpine Utah. It was one of my favorite experiences. I loved working around artists, and creators. Enjoy!
