New Middle School #1 Project Update

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is building new middle school #1 near the intersection of Tom Short Rd. and Coral Rose Rd., made possible by the 2023 Bond Referendum. During the project update meeting the Hord Coplan Macht architects and Dennis La Caria, Executive Director, Facilities Management, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, talked about the new facility that will have a baseline 54-classroom capacity, relieving Community House Middle School, Jay M. Robinson Middle School, and Rea Farms STEAM Academy.
