Assassin's Creed Odyssey | Any% NG+ Nightmare Difficulty | No Damage

#AssassinsCreed #Odyssey Any% #NoDamage run completed on March 7, 2022. The criteria for this run was no damage could be taken to either Kassandra or The Adrestia (your ship) from the time you first gain control of Kassandra until the final main story quest, Dinner in Sparta, is completed. At no time during the run could I desynchronize or restart/reload if damage was taken. If any of these conditions were not met (I.e. took damage, failed an objective, Desync’d, etc.) a complete restart of the game was required. For this challenge I capped my level at 99 and enabled level scaling to ensure ALL enemies would be at my level to maintain the difficulty. Below is my build and the approach I took to melee combat for this challenge. Melee Abilities: Kronos Time Shift, Rush Assassination, Fury of the Bloodline, Hero Strike, Ares’s Last Breath, Ares Bull Charge, Kronos’s Punishment, Shadow of Nyx Ranged Abilities: Might of Artemis Main Weapon: Flax of Olympos (+100% Damage but Health capped to 25% / Convert 50% Assassin Damage bonuses to All Damage) Secondary Weapon: The Knife of Dallwun (Enemies at weapon’s level or below can always be assassinated but Health capped at 25% / +25% Crit chance with Hero Strike Ability) Bow: Fanged Bow (Basic Arrows become Poison Arrows / +20% Damage with Hero Strike Ability) Gear: Ezio’s Roman Set (-100% Cooldown Duration for Hero Strike Ability on successful Parry) Horse: Pegasos (Horse is Immune to fall damage) My intention with this build was to stay stealthed and out of combat as much as possible. Normal assassination kills and Rush Assassination were my main ways of doing that. In the event of melee combat (which is often) I leaned heavily on the Ezio Gear set and Hero Strike to defeat enemies coupled with Might of Artemis to stun/damage groups. When low on adrenaline Fury of the Bloodline, Parries and doing damage were my go to methods to build it back up. The other abilities were very situational. Kronos Time Shift and Ares Bull Charge were equipped for very rare ship combat situations where you can knock enemies into the water. Ares’s Last Breath was primarily used during swimming in the event a shark locked on to me since dodging underwater is nearly impossible. Shadow of Nyx was used to sneak past certain areas to reduce total run time. Kronos’s Punishment used to kill certain named targets from a distance. Weapon build is fairly straight forward. The largest part of the weapon build was the dagger, allowing an instant assassination on anyone unaware. This helped bring the game back to a more traditional Assassin’s Creed game feel.
