For centuries Sintra's beauty and romanticism has enchanted foreign poets and travelers and those passionate about its landscape. Every person who comes to Sintra, is, even if only for a moment, transported back in time, enters a magical world, and has a unique encounter with history, myths and legends. Sintra is a bewitching town that once served as the residence for many of Portugal’s royalty and aristocrats.
