The New Riverside Ramblers - Creole Stomp -- J'Etais au Bal (Cajun)
The New Riverside Ramblers Cajun band performed this fiery medley of Creole Stomp -- J'Étais au Bal on Dec. 4, 2011 at the Half Time Rec in Saint Paul, Minnesota. They start off with fiddlesticks in Creole Stomp, a tradition in which twigs from peach trees were used for percussion. The NRR are part of the vibrant Twin Cities Cajun - zydeco dance scene and also frequently play Mardi Gras and corporate events, weddings, festivals, and concert series.
