Sibelius Advanced Time Signatures - Part 1
In this Sibelius lesson, we explore the world of advanced time signatures in a two-part series. In part 1, we begin by showing how to change the position and size of time signatures in engraving rules. We also create our own time signature text style and explore functionality by using the time signature window to group beams and rests, add cautionary time signatures, and even create composite time signatures. Finally, we show how to use a plugin called "Insert Bars with Multiple Time Signatures" to make entering scores that alternate between time signatures much easier. Originally created in 2019 as part of the course "Take Your Sibelius Skills to the Next Level".
