Mental Marathon

I went into Vipassana thinking it was just a silent meditation retreat. But it felt more like a "mental marathon." 10 days of silence. 11 hours of meditation every day. No phone. No talking. No Books. No distractions. Just a dance between me, my body and my mind. This video is my personal experience of Vipassana. Not as a teacher, not as an expert, but as someone who sat through the pain, boredom, restlessness, ego, craving, aversion and tiny moments of clarity. For me, Vipassana was not about becoming peaceful instantly. It was about seeing what is actually happening inside. Everything comes. Everything stays for a while. Everything goes away. This is my baby step towards understanding the ego, craving, aversion and the subtle truth of mind and matter.
