How to fix and/or install Helicoils in your Go Foil
Go Foil wings are attached to the Fuselage with Screws. These screws go into what is called a Helicoil which provides the threads. The Helicoils are made of Stainless Steel and installed inside the Carbon Fiber of the Fuselage. This is a guide on how to Retap or Replace the helicoils if you have damaged them. Usual causes for damaging a helicoil thread is using a Drill or Screw Gun to install the wings, or cross threading them and/or over tightening the wing screws. All of these three scenarios should be avoided to keep your threads working for the life of your foil. More Tutorial Videos can be found at https://gofoil.com/tutorial-videos/ https://gofoil.com
