The railway, built in 1971, has been rebuilt several times in the past and was called the "King Kong Horror Railway" from 1973, "Schloss Schreckenstein" from 1981 and "Horror Vision" until 2003. The gondolas consist of mobile trolleys that are locked all around. The passenger is, as it were, locked up in a cage before the ride, so that the ghosts can be moved right up to the gondola during the trip and can thus be experienced up close. On the other hand, the grille serves as a protective function against malicious touching and damage to the figures by the passenger. The ride leads to past a horror baby room, a horror bath with a blood-filled bathtub and a movable skeleton, an exorcism room with a floating body, a ghost car beautifully themed with neon colors and UV light, an operating room and a sword-striking zombie. In addition, living spirits are occasionally used. The outer facade offers several eye-catchers and moving figures, including a water-spitting ghost toilet that activates every 2 minutes, a speaking giant zombie head, a dragon head that tilts forward, a ghost band, and a skeleton with a bicycle on a wire rope.
