2018 Starehe Founders Memorial and Sheikh Cup

On Sunday 1st July 2018, the Starehe Fraternity congregated at Starehe Boys' Centre to celebrate the lives of the Founders of the Starehe Schools - Starehe Boys Centre & School (www.stareheboyscentre.ac.ke) and Starehe Girls' Centre (www.starehegirlscentre.ac.ke), plus all those who worked closely with them and those who continue to support Starehe in various ways. It was also Dr. Griffin that founded the Old Starehian Society (www.oldstarehians.org) and clearly set out ist mission - to guarantee a future for Starehe. The activities of the day included a #SBCFoundersMemorial Service, a reunion of #OldStarehians and the traditional #SheikhCup match between the Old Boys Football Team (Colditz Blitz FC) and the School First XI team. Other games played were basketball, volleyball and lawn tennis. The theme for the day was "Strength for Today, Brighter Hope for Tomorrow."
