Winter Truck Camping Adventure - Sub Freezing Sleeping in a Softopper Truck Bed Canopy ?!? In this adventure I take the full size GMC Sierra out on an overland style winter truck camping adventure into a remote area of the Oregon High Desert. Join me for an other old school truck camping adventure with off road exploring, camp cooking, camp set up and my first night sleeping in the Softopper truck bed canopy shell. On this trip I’m also looking for a couple pieces of lost history. One is the legend of an old silver mine and silver smelter that are in the area that have never been found.
