Like everything manufactured for tactical/police use, this flashlight has a high price tag that's not within everyone's budget. Furthermore, it's a piece with a very specific design and features for that field. This makes it less appealing to the civilian public, with its very specific market/niche. For example, as a civilian user, this flashlight is "overkill" for me since I'm not going to use it for tactical purposes. And personally, I find it hard to spend more than 20-30 euros on a flashlight with a non-replaceable integrated battery, as is the case with this Nextorch.
