Explanation and bestowal of Vajrakilaya Kago, Refuge. Losar advice – HH the Sakya Trichen. 02.11.24

On February 11, 2024 at the request of Sakya Friends HH the 41st Sakya Trichen gave spiritual advice for Losar with Vajrakilaya Kago blessing and Buddhist refuge. Event was translated by Sakya Friends into 13 languages. Vajrakilaya Kago Blessing is a Vajrayana ritual for removing obstacles and bringing fortune, it was organized for the Losar – the lunar New Year of Dragon which is celebrated in Asia. HH the Sakya Trichen is the supreme head of the Sakya order of Tibetan Buddhism. On February 18, Sunday, at 4:30 pm IST Lama Choedak Rinpoche will bestow the empowerment (and explanation of the practice) of Heruka Vajrasattva. The practice and mantra of Heruka Vajrasattva can purify negative karma. On March 2, Saturday, at 4:30 pm IST Lama Choedak Rinpoche will bestow the empowerment (and explanation of the sadhana) of "Union of Mahamudra and Great Compassion (Mahakaruna)".
