Skifahren in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis: Lohnt sich das Familien-Skigebiet?

Skiing in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis in Tyrol: An early start to the sunrise at over 2,800 meters altitude, an adrenaline rush on the steepest run, and a delicious après-ski treat with tobogganing. Have you ever been to Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis? If so, what did you think? Do you have a favorite slope, and where do you like to stop for a break? Feel free to share your experiences and stories with us in the comments! The alarm clock rings early. At 4:00 a.m., I sleepily get out of bed. At 5:00 a.m., I meet snowcat driver Elmar, and at 5:30 a.m., I take my seat in the converted vehicle. Then, together with other early risers, we travel for about an hour in the tracked vehicle through the ski area and up to the Masnerkopf. Up there at over 2,800 meters altitude, the sun emerges from behind the peaks a few minutes later. A beautiful sunrise. There isn't a single cloud in the sky. So I'm looking forward to a picture-perfect day! Before hitting the slopes, though, there's a hearty breakfast at the Hexensee Hut. Then the first run awaits. I strap on my skis and whiz down the pristine slope. What a dream! All alone. Until the first skiers from the valley arrive, we have the entire area to ourselves. I could almost get used to this. Then we continue on towards the Bear Slope. The slope above Serfaus is particularly popular with families. Right in the middle of the blue run, a giant bear's mouth awaits. We ski through it, and the bear lets out a contented growl. Exciting! Onward we go towards Fiss and Ladis. Next, we explore the north side of Fiss. We pass the viewing platform on the Zwölferkopf. There, we have a fantastic panoramic view with views towards the Zugspitze, the Inn Valley, the Wildspitze, and the Weißkugel. And right next to us is the Crystal Cube. You can even have a civil wedding ceremony in the glass cube. Or simply enjoy a nice meal. Enough admiring the view. Now a challenge awaits us. We're spoiled for choice. Should we take the Direttissima or the Kamikaze run? Felix makes the decision for me, counts the laps, and we plunge down the Direttissima. With a gradient of up to 70 percent, it's one of the steepest slopes in the ski area. It's surprisingly easy to ski, though. We continue exploring the ski area, take the new 12-person gondola up, marvel at more breathtaking views, and then look forward to a few leisurely turns on the Frommes run. This approximately 7-kilometer-long run is one of my favorite slopes in the ski area. And then we stop at the Zirbenhütte. On the sun terrace, we enjoy some plum dumplings and relax completely. This is the life. And we recharge our batteries to end the day with a thrilling toboggan run. We rent sleds at the Schönjochbahn valley station and zoom down the mountain at top speed. A perfect ending! If you enjoyed the video, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe so you don't miss anything. Thanks for watching! :)
