Howard Murphet first met Sathya Sai Baba in Madras in 1965 and was an ardent devotee ever since. He is the author of several books about Sai Baba, among them: Sai Baba Avatar: A New Journey into Power and Glory (1990), Sai Baba, Man of Miracles (1977), and Sai Inner Views and Insights: Inner Views and Insights : 30 Years With the Avatar (1996).
