He's 120 years old. Who? Why, him, the K 5342 from Club 1889. From 1896 onwards, the RhB (Rhaetian Railway) built 151 covered wagons to a uniform standard. Six suppliers were commissioned for this task. The standard was a wheelbase of 3.15 meters and a length of 7.49 meters. The wagons were delivered between 1886 and 1906. One wagon has survived to this day and is now the historic wagon K 5342, which was restored by Club 1889 between 2020 and 2021. A 1:87 scale model is now available from BEMO. But BEMO also offers other models in H0m scale. Reason enough to take a closer look at the wagon's history. ...
