ISWAP Attack Repelled in Borno as Court Jails Terror Kingpin’s Mother and Sister

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have repelled an ISWAP attack in Borno State with air and ground support, inflicting heavy casualties on the attackers, while a Federal High Court in Abuja has sentenced the mother and sister of slain terror kingpin Kachallah Battujo to 40 years' imprisonment for aiding terrorism, as the Defence Ministry also considers allowing journalists to accompany selected military operations to enhance transparency in security reporting.
