According to Sheikh Mohammed Ali Essabouni, Surah Ya Sin is a Meccan surah, revealed in Mecca which addresses three main subjects: faith in the Resurrection, resurrection, the arrival of the day of the last Judgment, the story of the inhabitants of the city (Antaqia) who had rejected the message of God's envoys and provides arguments proving the uniqueness of the Lord. This surah is also known for having saved and protected the Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him) during his journey and exile in Medina, which raises it to the rank of the surahs most recited at the bedside of the dying. The objective of the surah is to warn the Quraysh of the disastrous and serious consequences of their denial of the prophecy of Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him), of their tyranny and their mockery. The verses inform about the resurrection, rebirth of the dead and the day, time of final examination, when the disbelievers will be separated from the pious. At the end of the surah we find a summary, synthesis of the three pillars of Islam: monotheism, uniqueness, prophecy and resurrection. All these arguments mean that Surah Ya Sin is designated, considered the heart, center of the Quran for what it presents in terms of morality.
