UNTOLD STORIES BIKE LIFE IN ST LUCIA

In 2018 5 people lost their lives as a result of motorcycle accidents in St Lucia. By 2020, that figure had almost doubled with no signs of slowing down. In an effort to understand why so many young men fall victim to this two wheeled mayhem, I interviewed a cadre of motorcyclists from the various riding clubs in St Lucia. The instructors who certify these riders finally spoke and the police who are charged with taming the carnage speak of the ultimate ban. A cripple biker recounts a reckless ride on bald tires which led to his broken spine. This documentary also delves into the creation of a biker, from childhood stunts, to the eulogy of fellow bikers. We don't only report on the indiscipline but, also on the brotherhood, the leathers, the freedom of the open road, and the philanthropy which all encompass bike life in St Lucia.
