Sekiro Solved Game Design. Everyone Else Is Catching Up.

Sekiro has solved many game design issues FromSoftware faced in the past, allowing it to become the first of FromSoftware’s games to become Game of the Year at the Game Awards. In this video, I do an in-depth analysis of what Sekiro does well, including six design features that are extremely well done which define the game. Newer soulslikes have focused on the features that make Sekiro great and I want to explore how those games implemented Sekiro into their own game as well.
