#29 Fly Fishing for Trout Revisiting Old Ground

35 years on !! Revisiting a trout fishery that I last fished back in the very early 1990's, this a very nostalgic revisit for me. I spent many hours as a child watching my Dad fish this place & when I was old enough to become a member I spent a lot of my teenage years fishing it catching lots of rainbow & brown trout. This place is wide open to the elements & I remember it being brutally cold at times but it never deterred me. Now 35 years later & I'm back & to be honest it felt like I'd never been away. I'm sentimental about this place as it holds so many memories for me & I'd been so looking forward to casting a fly line on there again. Walking back on there took me right back, it felt great.... & if I could catch a few trout then even better !! #fishing #flyfishing #troutfishing
