I Rescued a 6-Year-Old Stray Cat Who Weighed Only 1.5 kg—3 Months Later, He Became an Angel

One early morning on the street, a filthy stray cat, weak and barely able to walk, came straight toward me. I quickly put him into a cardboard box from a convenience store and rushed him to the vet, only to hear heartbreaking news: he was about six years old, but weighed only 1.5 kilograms. He had a severe infection, and the vet even gave me a critical condition notice on the spot. I have no idea how much suffering he had been through, but I named him Anan, hoping he could finally live in peace and safety. What touched me most was that Anan seemed to know we were trying to save him. Even at his weakest, he still cooperated with treatment. He would gently rub his head against my hand and even try to knead with what little strength he had left. To treat his serious skin disease, all of his fur had to be shaved off. But that was also the moment his new life truly began.
