The Cape Wrath Ultra - Scotland's 400km Expedition Race
What's it like to run 400 km through the most remote and beautiful parts of Scotland... Said to be the hardest Cape Wrath Ultra to date and up there with the toughest multi stage races out there. The Cape Wrath ultra is a 400 km trail ultra marathon with 14000 meters of elevation, completed over 8 days. Starting in Fort William it follows an unmarked and often pathless route through some of the most remote and beautiful places in Scotland. Enduring the worst weather possible and tackling the most challenging terrain, 300 started yet only 100 finished. This was by far the hardest thing I've ever done and was very pleased with a finishing time of 59hrs 12mins and 11th place. #capewrathultra #trailrunning #ultrarunning
