Red Velvet and MAMAMOO Being The Last "Real" Vocalists in K-Pop

The vocal landscape of modern K-pop often feels like a competition of visuals and performance where the actual sound of a voice can sometimes get lost in the noise. It turns out that Red Velvet and MAMAMOO weren't playing by the same rules as everyone else when they debuted in 2014. These nine women built a foundation so technically advanced that it changed how we define a vocal group in the first place. And When MAMAMOO released 'Decalcomanie' in 2016 they established a live performance standard that most trainees still find impossible to replicate. Around that same time Red Velvet was perfecting the choral architecture of songs like 'One of These Nights' and eventually their arguably best hit, 'Psycho' which became a masterclass in vocal control and precision. Seeing them stand in front of a microphone for their Killing Voice session or a world tour stage makes it clear why their influence is still felt in 5th gen group like NMIXX and KISS OF LIFE today. The part of Red Velvet and MAMAMOO that fans feel even when the music stops is the weight of a true vocal masterclass. #redvelvet #mamamoo #reveluv #kpopdocumentary #hwasa #solar #wendy 🛍️ Shop what’s featured in this video đź›’ Cokodive Use code NOITE10 for 10% off • Albums, merch & more → https://cokodive.com?aff=2754 đź›’ Olive Young Global Use code NOITE05 for 5% off • Beauty, albums & essentials → https://global.oliveyoung.com/if/rd?s... 📌 Related Videos: 🎥 Watch our NCT WISH documentary ➡️    • Why This NCT’s Final Unit Almost Didn’t Ha...   🎥 Watch our LE SSERAFIM documentary ➡️    • Why LE SSERAFIM's Songs Should Not Work Bu...   THE NOITE — For those who dare đź“© Business: [email protected] 📱 Follow:   / thenoitebrand   Subscribe if you move with us.
