Solving a quadratic or second-degree equation using two different methods. On the one hand, we square the binomial and rewrite the equation in its general form. Applying the formula gives the solutions. On the other hand, it is possible to set one side equal to zero and express that nonzero side as a subtraction of squares, and then factor from there. We will then have a zero product from which it is easy to extract the two roots of our equation. #math #algebra #mathwithjuan
