CT scan machines uses x-ray a powerful of electromagnetic radiation. CT procedure can scan nearly every part of the body provide much more efficient results compared to X-Ray. History - Invented in 1972 by British engineer sir Godfrey hounsfield of EMI laboratories. Hounsfield and cormack got the 1979 Nobel prize for their contributions to CT.
