Welcome back to the Hof Bergmann Farm Timelapse. The grain harvest continues in full swing as we move our combine harvester into the oat field. After attaching the appropriate header, we begin the oat harvest, ensuring the grain is collected efficiently. Once the crop is harvested, we transport the oats to the mill for processing, contributing to our expanding range of farm products. As the oat harvest wraps up, we keep our combine harvester working by assigning it to a wheat harvest contract, handled by a hired worker. This strategy ensures continuous productivity and extra income for the farm. Meanwhile, we turn our attention to straw management. After the oat harvest, we rake the remaining straw into windrows, bale it using our baler, and load the bales onto trailers. These bales are then delivered to the straw storage facility, adding to our stockpile for future use or sales. After completing the wheat contract, we bring in a tractor equipped with a cultivator to prepare the fields for the next sowing cycle.
