Two national parks in one day — Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park — after driving from Yosemite Lakes Thousand Trails. This big rig RV family adventure was packed with bucket list moments, epic views, and unexpected wildlife. After leaving Yosemite, we set out to explore Sequoia and Kings Canyon in one full day, tackling some of the most iconic stops in both parks. From massive giant sequoia trees and the famous log tunnel to scenic drives through Kings Canyon, this day was all about making the most of our time in California’s national parks. The highlight of the day was hiking Moro Rock, where we were rewarded with one of the most incredible panoramic views in Sequoia National Park. Along the way, we spotted a bear, soaked in unforgettable scenery, and checked off experiences that had been on our bucket list for years.
