A Shaman Explains What Ayahuasca Really Is

In this video Roman Hanis, Author and Co-Founder of Paititi Institute explains what ayahuasca is really about. Roman moved to the Amazon in 2001 seeking healing for an illness considered incurable by modern medicine. After 8 months of working with ayahuasca and indigenous plant medicine traditions, he experienced a full remission and has remained symptom-free ever since. He decided to stay in South America and train in these traditions, and has been facilitating retreats and transformational experiences for over two decades. In his journey, he has found that many people have a misunderstanding of what ayahuasca is really about.
