Infrastrutture invisibili: chi tiene insieme le comunità nelle aree interne?

Inner areas are not empty territories, but places brimming with fragility and potential. Here, many regeneration processes fail without someone capable of bringing together stakeholders, needs, and visions. In this webinar, we explored the topic from three key perspectives: – Elena Granata, Professor of Urban Planning at the Polytechnic University of Milan, spoke about the crisis facing traditional urban development models and the value of social capital as a key element for the vitality of local areas; – Silvia Di Passio, Community Manager, shared her field experience, starting with everyday practices: what it means to operate in a local area, address the most frequent challenges, and act concretely as a glue between different local realities; – Chiara Nenci, Community Manager and Facilitator at LAMA Impresa Sociale, addressed the urgent need to train professionals capable of fostering development processes: among associations that struggle to engage people, isolated businesses, and administrations struggling to engage, specific skills and concrete tools are needed to shape the future. The meeting also provided an opportunity to introduce the content of the London School of Economics course "Communities as Development Infrastructures," designed for those who want to initiate social regeneration processes and seek practical tools to move from intention to impact.
