On March 7, 1525, representatives of various farmers’ alliances assembled in Memmingen's Kramerzunft and issued the “Zwölf Artikel” (Twelve Articles). Exactly 500 years later, on March 7, 2025, Memmingen launched a full jubilee year titled „500 Jahre Zwölf Artikel“, with a dramatic “Zeitreise 1525” light-and-sound event to mark the occasion.
