Trusting My Life to 3D Printed Ski Boots

Is 3D printing strong enough for extreme conditions? Many people think 3D printing is limited to small, decorative objects. But what if we told you that it could handle high-stress applications like... ski boots? In this video, we challenge the limitations of 3D printing by reverse engineering a pair of ski boots using a Creaform HandyScan 3D scanner. But the magic doesn't stop there. After bringing the raw scan data into Creaform VX Elements, we're ready to print our own models. Our printing technology of choice is SAF, or Selective Additive Fusion and our go-to printer is the H350 from Stratasys. The reason we selected SAF is because it gave us a highly durable and eco-friendly solution. See how these 3D-printed boots perform on the slopes and discover the true potential of this powerful technology. #3DPrinting #Innovation #Engineering #3DPrintedBoots #Skiing Download the files here: Boot upper: https://cdn.goengineer.com/boot%20upp...
