Hi, It's Carpenter Sonny! I made the Windsor chair. The Windsor chair is a chair that has been made by British and American carpenters for a long time. In general, the chair that people are familiar with is a chair that is completed by making a chair frame first and then placing a seat on the finished frame. However, in the Windsor chair, the legs are inserted under the seat and the back is inserted upward, and the chair is completed by combining the structure that extends up and down around the seat plate. It's really interesting that the seat determines most of the shape of the chair, right? The thinnest part of the back spindle is only 1 cm in diameter. Is this chair made of thin wooden sticks strong enough? The finished Windsor chair is very strong, because they structurally reinforce each other. This is one of the reasons why the Windsor chair is amazing! The Windsor chair I made this time is the 'Henry Chair' designed by 'Red Chairmaker', a famous green woodworker in South Korea.
